The SRC 330 is the second attempt to develop a ship by 31 feet - this time under the new owner Roger v. Haugwitz. The project was presented on the company's Facebook page on 2020-06-27. The design corresponds to the 1996 SRC 310 design, but has been refined with some modern attributes. It thus once again underlines the timeless elegance of the Storebro boats.
To meet current demands, the ship has been equipped with a longer bathing platform, which has resulted in the length increasing from 31 to 33 feet.
The SRC 330 is planned in two different versions. She is to appear as "Biscay" and "Adriatic". The "Baltic" version of the SRC 310 is probably not being pursued at present.
Obviously Storebro uses stern drives or shaft drives in V-shape for this ship. The available pictures of the layout clearly show a V arrangement of small Volvo Penta engines.
