Because of an injury of the former company owner the young Ivar got direct contact to the construction of lathes and engines. At the end of the 20s his boss was not able to pay him because of the economic circumstances. As a compensation he got the rights to produce a lathe. This was the base for the company Örnmaskiner, which started building leisure boats and overtook the competitor Storebro Bruk.
In 1971, Ivar Gustafsson

Ivarsson. Roy took over the management of the Storebro Bruks AB, Lennart was Managing Director of AB Storebro Royal Cruiser.
