The Storö 41 was a design to expand the product portfolio with larger ships. The design clearly copied the successful Royal Cruiser IV. In terms of the open cockpit and layout, the design followed the Golden Eagle, which offered a lot of living space below deck with a relatively small cockpit.
In fact, this ship was never built and instead the Storebro Royal Cruiser 42/Storebro Royal Cruiser 43 were developed, which with their large deck saloon showed a new development direction for later ships.
Then, in 1974, a ship with similar proportions was introduced in the form of the Storebro Royal Cruiser 38.
