The Royal Cruiser II was the successor of the well-known Royal Cruiser I. The boat used the same basic design which allowed safe cruising at open sea.
The ship was designed by Otto Scheen, who also designed the Royal Cruiser I. The Royal Cruiser II was the direct predecessor of the successful Royal Cruiser III, which used the same hull.
EnginesAlthough only six ships of this type were built, at least five different engine types were used. Noteworthy here also the hull number 977 with the then rare double stern drive.
