The Storebro 435 Commander was introduced in late 2008 and represented a further development of the successful 410 Commander. In 2011, a second version was presented - the 435 Sun Top.
The SRC 435 eliminated a few weak points of the SRC 410. By the extension of the hull, the cockpit could be designed slightly larger. The extended swim platform now provides more space for a tender. Inside, there is a noticeable change in the change of color from blue to beige upholstery. Other changes include the rotatable passenger seat, 2-seater drivers bench with cabinet and console over the helm.
The SRC 435 Sun Top presented a version without the flybridge, which provided a large sun deck instead. At the same time a large panoramic sunroof has been integrated, which significantly lightens the interior. The roof of the 435 Sun Top spanned the cockpit more than the Flybridge of the Commander. So the expensive electrical mechanism to span the tarpaulin steeper was not necessary.
Apart from these features, both ships are equally equipped.
Unlike the SRC 410, there are only Volvo Penta D6-370 available by default. On special request the yard equipped the boat with D6-435. But these engines were not officially listed.

The values given in the motor diagrams below are measured values of individually equipped ships. The measured values can vary depending on the equipment as well as the wind and temperature conditions. These values do not indicate a binding property, but can only serve as indications.
